Terms of Sale

These terms cover orders placed with ShopMate through this website. By placing an order you accept them. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.

Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy. Your order is accepted once we confirm it with you. We may decline an order if an item is out of stock, if the price or description was wrong, or if we cannot verify your delivery details.

Product photographs are representative. Colours may vary slightly between screens and between production batches.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in LKR and include any taxes shown at checkout.

We accept cash on delivery and bank transfer. For bank transfers your order is confirmed once we have received and verified your payment receipt. We do not take card payments on this site and will never ask you for card details.

Delivery

A delivery charge of LKR 350 applies unless a different rate is shown for your area at checkout.

Delivery times given at checkout are estimates, not guarantees. We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our control, including courier delays and weather.

Please check your parcel on arrival. If something is damaged or missing, contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

Returns and exchanges

If an item arrives damaged, faulty, or is not what you ordered, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will arrange a replacement, exchange or refund.

Items returned for any other reason must be unused, unwashed, and in their original condition and packaging. Return postage for a change of mind is the customer's responsibility.

Refunds are issued by the same method you paid, or by bank transfer where that is not possible.

Cancelling an order

You may cancel before your order has been dispatched. Once it is with the courier, the returns process above applies instead.

Your account and conduct

You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you give us. Do not use this site to place fraudulent orders or to interfere with its operation.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under applicable consumer law. Subject to that, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version published on this page at the time you place an order is the one that applies to it.
